This page explains how to permanently delete your WorkMate account and the data associated with it. It applies to accounts created in the WorkMate mobile app (Android and iOS) and on the WorkMate web dashboard. You do not need to contact support to delete your account — you can do it yourself at any time using either option below.
Option 1: Delete from the mobile app (immediate)
- 1Open the WorkMate app and sign in.
- 2Go to the Account tab.
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- 4Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deletion from the app takes effect immediately: your account, sign-in credentials, and business data are permanently removed, and any active subscription is cancelled.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, you can request deletion in either of these ways:
- •Sign in to the web dashboard at app.workmatecrm.com, open Settings, and choose Delete account.
- •Email us at help@workmatecrm.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Account deletion request".
Deletion requests made through the web dashboard or by email are verified and completed within 30 days. We will confirm by email once your account has been deleted.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- •Your account, profile, and sign-in credentials
- •Customer records, jobs, quotes, and invoices you created
- •Job photos, receipts, signatures, and uploaded files
- •Team member records, notifications, and push notification tokens
- •Your business website created with the Website Builder
Any active subscription is cancelled at the same time, so you will not be billed again.
Note for business owners: deleting the owner account closes the whole company workspace — team members you invited lose access, and the company's data is deleted with it. Team members who delete their own account remove only their own profile; the company's data is unaffected.
What is retained, and for how long
- •Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days of deletion.
- •Financial transaction records (for example invoices tied to processed payments) may be retained where required for tax and legal compliance — up to 7 years under applicable tax laws. These records are kept only as long as the law requires and are not used for any other purpose.
